How affiliate links work
An affiliate link contains tracking information that allows a merchant or affiliate network to identify that a visitor came from Pulse & Prime. Compensation may be based on a purchase, signup, trial, lead or another qualifying action defined by the program.
How we identify monetized content
We place a clear disclosure near the beginning of buyer guides and before or close to monetized calls to action. Affiliate links may use the HTML relationship attributes nofollow and sponsored.
Editorial independence
Affiliate compensation may influence which products or topics are commercially practical to cover, but it does not guarantee a positive recommendation. We aim to describe relevant benefits, limitations, compatibility requirements and alternatives.
A product's inclusion on the site is not a promise that it is suitable for every reader.
Sponsored content and paid partnerships
If a brand pays for a placement, sponsors an article or provides a product for evaluation, that relationship should be clearly labeled. Sponsored content is separate from ordinary affiliate links unless both relationships apply.
Prices, availability and merchant terms
Prices, promotions, inventory, shipping, warranties, subscription terms and return policies may change without notice. The merchant's website controls the final transaction and current terms.
Social media and paid advertising
Commercial posts and advertisements should use the disclosure tools and labels required by the applicable platform, in addition to any written disclosure needed for clarity.
